An oasis is a place that provides refuge, relief or pleasant contrast. Deep in the desert, the complex sets out to deliver an elite sports training experience where the site offers none of it naturally.
At the nucleus sits a multi purpose facility able to take baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse or soccer. The stadium is bisected by a central spine acting as an amenity hub for both the main field and the basketball facility, so the amenities are shared rather than duplicated.
Around the nucleus sit on site dormitories, training fields, retail pads and an Olympic regulation natatorium and track facility. The site is bisected by the main thoroughfare, which becomes the circulation spine for the entire development. Shared amenity is what lets a remote campus carry this much program.
