Pendulum offices in Kansas City, Maryland and North Carolina
Pendulum works from three offices. Kansas City has been the headquarters since 2007. Greenbelt, Maryland and Rocky Mount, North Carolina both opened in 2021 to put design and construction administration staff inside the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast markets rather than flying them in. Public assembly projects are civic projects, decided in council chambers and owner meetings that happen on short notice. Being in the region is how a pro forma stays honest all the way through construction.

CEDRIC LOWE, CCM
Associate Principal
Cedric brings over 20 years of experience managing diverse projects in K-12 and higher education, sports, hospitality, and healthcare. Since joining Pendulum in 2023, he has been key to expanding the firm’s Southeast presence, managing projects like the WiSE Complex in Wilson, NC. Known for his strategic approach and collaboration, Cedric delivers successful outcomes while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

TODD FERRY, AIA
Studio Director
Todd is an award-winning architect and educator internationally recognized for his work in public interest design. Formerly with Portland State University’s Center for Public Interest Design, Todd focuses on participatory design to create impactful civic spaces, housing, and community planning. A Co-Founder of the Homelessness Research and Action Collaborative, he is a thought leader in alternative shelter and tiny house design, with work featured in Architectural Record and The New York Times. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.
