A concept prototype. First Award winner for Sports and Recreation, Rethinking the Future Awards 2020.

The goal is to disrupt the stadium marketplace in food service, technology, seating and operations, which is where stadium sales, sponsorship and operating problems actually live.

Pendulum assembled a group of like minded companies rather than working the problem alone: PrismView on digital display, point of sale and communications, SPS Technology on flexible seating bowls, Camatic on fixed armchair seating, Port Fonda on food service and hospitality, and Seda on automated retractable bowl technology.

The approach is flexible and modular. Rather than an unrealistically expensive one size fits all offering, the design is efficient, scalable and economically sustainable, which is the only way a prototype reaches markets that cannot afford a bespoke building.
